Subject: Surprise visit

 

Hi again family!

 

Thanks, Ken for putting the last letter on KenKemp.com! Here’s another little update….

 

We’re still waiting for the baby…but Stacy had such a surprise at her shower! Her cousin Kiley showed up just as the shower was beginning! Greg and I kept the surprise that Roger and Kiley were coming up to WA/Canada for business and to check out schools—they happened to arrive at just the right timing! The guys left and hung out together while Stacy was totally blessed by her church shower—at least 35 from her church and her cousin, Kiley! The church ladies also blessed me to wait for the shower until I was here now on the 4th. It was so great to meet Stacy and Jared’s church family and it was obvious they are very loved here. Baby Haechton will be the best dressed baby!

 

We had such a fun evening together with Roger and Kiley—I had prepared a meal the night before so we could enjoy the evening together at our little cottage. As you see from the pictures, Roger had some ideas of how could we make this baby come a little sooner—the dancing didn’t seem to do it so we went for a walk in the rainy/blowy/cold winter evening (not exactly the weather that said “Kiley, move here for school!” Rog said there was a reason he brought Kiley to check out these schools in February J) It was also so great for Greg and me to get to see them.

 

Well, we had such a good but fast visit. Stac and Jared fixed a nice breakfast we had leisurely together and then Rog and Kiley had to take off but what a special memory together.

 

Thanks for the prayers –it was such fun for some California family reps to be here! They (and WE) are also looking so forward to Karin who also has a business trip up here ! and Grandma is also coming the weekend of the 17th!

 

We will let you know ASAP any news!!

Subject: Jared and Stac are ready and waiting!

 

Hi Family!

 

We are so happy to be here with Stacy and Jared! Stacy looks adorable and ready to go! We got here on Wednesday afternoon and had some trying times on the passes but thank God, we had no trouble (besides putting on chains and a little harrowing before that) but to be driving slow and adding on probably 3 hours drive.

 

Tomorrow is the Church shower for Stacy at 3pm. She was already very blessed by her work folks on her last day, Tuesday.

 

Several have asked for pictures so here's the first. We have a wonderful little cottage right on the Bay where we are staying for the month.

 

The only downside is our cell phones don’t work here and we only have sporadic connection on line.

 

We love and miss you all!
